Who we are

The Pro Pivot runs thepropivot.com and blog.thepropivot.com. If you have a question about your information, email hello@thepropivot.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus basic visit counts if you allow them.

• Forms. When you fill out a form on this site, we get what you typed. Depending on the form, that can be your name, email, phone number, organization, role, group size and your message.
• The weekly email. Your first name and email address.
• Visit counts. If you click Accept all on the cookie notice, Google Analytics records things like which pages were viewed and roughly where visitors are. If you click Essential only, this does not run at all.

Why we collect it

• To answer you when you contact us or request a program.
• To send the dates, updates or weekly email you asked for.
• To understand which pages help people, so we can improve them.

Who helps us run the site

A few outside services handle parts of the site. They only get what they need to do their job.

• Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions.
• Luma sells event tickets. When you buy a ticket you are on Luma, and their privacy policy applies.
• Blogger stores our blog posts. Reading a post loads its words and photos from Blogger.
• Google Analytics counts visits, only if you allow it.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade our email list. We do not send you messages you did not sign up for.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and email addresses for as long as we need them to stay in touch with you. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it.
• Change your cookie choice by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. The notice appears again on your next visit.
• Email hello@thepropivot.com to see, correct or delete what we have about you.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
